An all-mountain ski that loves the turn and lives for the carve.
As East Coast Skiers we have a true appreciation for snow that is freshly groomed, or chalky and edgeable, or warm and corny. But let’s be honest, the snow isn’t always perfect. Weeks will pass and it’s icy and firm. We realized our Amalgam community needed a ski with more sidecut, tighter carving capabilities; a ski that would carve it up with ease—no matter whether the piste is perfectly soft corduroy or bulletproof blue ice. The Quanta is that ski. It loves the turn. It lives for the carve.
At 86mm underfoot, the Quanta is the narrowest ski in our line. It performs at your level, at your speed. This ski is quick from edge to edge; making tight turns with ease. And it doesn’t mind riding out the larger radius arcs either.
If you’re an ex-racer who cranks Mach speed GS arcs, you’ll appreciate the edge hold and stability at speed. If you’re more of a mellow blue cruiser, you’ll appreciate the smooth and easy edge-to-edge transition. The Quanta was built for anyone who loves the turn in its simplest, purest form, no matter your ability. You’ll be arcing hardpack, slicing bumps, and nimbly slipping through tree glades. Like all our skis, the core is made from New England hardwood—our classic blend of maple and poplar
The Quanta is the newest ski in our lineup. We had a blast testing and refining with our Amalgam Community. Big thanks to the skiers who provided us with great feedback along the way.
For those of you in the market for a carving ski: This is the one for you.
